You may already be working on this but in case you're not, it would be really cool if you contributed some of what you're doing (data about your process and maybe some local wildlife measurements/observations) to a lab working on forest ecology – I think this kind of thing might be of interest to them! You may already have connections to a lab through your permaculture studies but if not let me know and I'll see if I can send something your way.
Thanks Adam! I haven't gotten to the point of taking measurements yet. Mostly because I haven't planted anything. I've just been swinging a scythe and trying to make room to get started. I've been doing research on this though and the studies are pretty interesting.
Here's a few I have noted for studying yield in mono vs. polyculture. Though "yield" is not necessarily my goal here.
